Chris Korn

Drs. Michelle & Brian Kravitz

Drs. Michelle and Brian Kravitz have shown ongoing support for Bnai Zion for over a decade. They have been married 27 years and have three children, David, Jonathan, and Heidi. Michelle is a general pediatrician with Forest Lane Pediatrics, and Brian is a pediatric anesthesiologist and associate chief quality officer for Children’s Health System of Texas. Brian & Michelle were both promoted to Lieutenant Colonel while serving their country. Brian was deployed to Honduras and Afghanistan prior to being discharged. Their service did not end when they left the Army, as they continue to serve as philanthropists to numerous Jewish causes at home and in Israel.

Brian graduated from University of Miami and Michelle from Johns Hopkins. They first met while earning their M.D.’s at the same school, Uniformed Services University. After serving as a flight surgeon for the 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment in El Paso, Brian completed his anesthesiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Michelle completed her pediatric residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, then served as chief of the pediatric clinic at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and later as pediatrician in charge of the newborn nursery at National Naval Medical Center. Brian worked as an anesthesiologist in El Paso and then completed a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s National Medical Center.



Dr. Rofe, a graduate of Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), has been the chief executive officer of the Bnai Zion Medical Center since the beginning of the 21st century.

A physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Rofe holds a degree in medical management as well. He has also served as a consultant for the organization and establishment of specialized medical projects in Israel, Britain and Africa. Dr. Rofe served in the private sector as the general director for a pharmaceutical and medical supply company.

He is a resident of Haifa and a respected member of the community.
