In celebration of his retirement after many years of service, Ted has decided that this evening will benefit the Ahava Village for Children and Youth in Kiryat Bialik, Israel. Ahava which means “love” in Hebrew is a residential community where disadvantaged children who are removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, violence, and other forms of familial trauma have access to a range of therapeutic programs. These programs, along with a supportive living environment, can rehabilitate traumatized youth and give them a normal childhood, so they will become happy, healthy, and productive members of Israeli society.
