A Music Conservatory for Ma’ale Adumim

Ma’ale Adumim, a city of over 42,000 near Jerusalem, is a cultural hub for communities further east. The George W. Schaeffer Music Conservatory, established by Bnai Zion Foundation in March 2013, enables “music of peace” to resonate throughout the region by educating children and adults of all musical talents and capabilities.

"Bringing first-rate music education to these children is nothing less than a Zionist act. None of these talented, wonderful children would have had any chance of even being exposed to it without the dedicated faculty and staff of the George Schaffer School of Music."
— Benjamin Shapira, Cellist, educator, and conductor for the Ma’ale Adumim Youth Symphony

Bnai Zion Foundation is a strong believer in the importance of education to building strong and vibrant communities. The George Schaeffer Music Conservatory provides more local access to music education and with exposure to the arts. Located in downtown Ma’ale Adumim, the conservatory bolsters the vitality of a community that already serves as a cultural hub for its area.
